House Rules

  1. Acid is not something you can purchase for 25 GP or whatever it is in the book. These are magical potions, if they exist at all.
  2. Healing potions are more powerful than listed in the standard rules, but cost more and are not something that can be picked up at the farmer’s market.
  3. This is really just a clarification. Everyone starts play knowing at least two languages (or fewer, if they so desire). These are Common and whatever applies most closely to their cultural background (Elvish, Abyssal, Dwarvish, Flan, Suel etc.). On gaining more languages: some backgrounds (Acolyte, Guild Artisan, Hermit, Noble, Outlander, Sage_, maybe others, pages 127-141 PHB) and at least one feat (_Linguist, page 167 PHB) grant additional languages. There might be other ways of gaining languages.
